"New Family First Childcare Center is committed to the continued goal of nurturing a more diverse and inclusive generation of young children where inclusion, acceptance, and belonging are recognized and practiced, where respect and fairness are the building blocks of our programs, and where each child and employee knows that when they are with us, they are safe, respected, and valued."
At Family First Childcare, as part of our Caring Beyond the Classroom program, children and staff participate in
activities throughout the year that give back to our local community.
The Caring Beyond the Classroom program at Family First Childcare fosters a lifelong commitment to service. It encourages collaboration and problem-solving, while nurturing social responsibility, positive citizenship, empathy, kindness, and compassion in every child.
When children participate in the Caring Beyond the Classroom program, it empowers them and increases self-confidence, which is consistent with our company’s mission and philosophy.
The Caring Beyond the Classroom Family Event is an opportunity to help
children and their families learn about ways that they can give back to
their local community, celebrate with families, show appreciation,
and build relationships.
In celebration of I Love to Read month, children, families, and staff at
Family First Childcare come together to collect new and gently used
books for Reach Out and Read. This nonprofit organization helps lay
a foundation for young children's success by integrating books into
pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together.
Since our partnership began, we've proudly collected over 50,000
books, giving children the tools they need to begin their journey
of learning and growth.
"Family First Childcare’s book drive has significantly expanded our ability to serve children throughout the state. Through the generous donation of over 6,000 gently used books each year by our parents and staff, we’ve been able to create literacy-rich waiting areas and exam rooms for the children in our care. Additionally, we provide patients and their families with books to take home, helping to foster a love for reading."
